OMSI After Dark::Bridgetown Baconfest

I went to OMSI After Dark on Wednesday with some friends. The theme was Bacon & Bridges. I don't like bacon, but Jeff loves it.

these were really good cookies!

Didn't try Bakon Vodka, just took a photo in front of it, amazed something like this exists.
And I definitely regretted only bringing my phone for photos.

so much bacon

OMSI Stands for Oregon Museum of Science and Industry. It is very kid friendly, I went there many times as in elementary school, middle school, high school, even college. It's pretty awesome at any age.

The only time I haven't been there is 'After Dark'. After Dark is an adult only event every month. There is wine, beer, food, music, and you can walk around the exhibits. I've heard good things about it but I had no idea it is such a well attended event. Parking was crazy, it was packed and lines were long to get samples. Lines moved quickly though, there was a cool pig exhibit, an amazing circus act, and I'm very glad we went.

If you know me, you probably know I don't like bacon {don't judge me if you don't know me} so this was a little overwhelming for me but of course Jeff wished there was more bacon. I think he just wanted to be greeted at the door of OMSI with a plate of bacon.

  2. I haven't been to OMSI since I was a kid, After Dark sounds so fun! I will admit though, I totally don't get that bacon thing. I mean bacon is fine, but certainly not obsession worthy.
