apparently I really needed coffee this weekend. the top photo actually happened yesterday when my mom went to Portland and brought me back a lavender latte and lavender donut from coco donuts. YUM!

A few days ago I got an email saying if I bought a breakfast sandwich before today from Starbs I would get 5 bonus stars... so Jeff and I had a breakfast sandwich date this weekend and I actually got 10 stars! It was wild. Aside from the bonus bonus stars, it was a nice breakfast date, it reminded me of when we would stop at Starbucks for breakfast on Sunday mornings on our way to camp two summers ago {always a breakfast sandwich for each of us, a chai for me, and a frap for Jeff}.

Lavender everything

On Saturday I went to the Lavender Lake Farms and it was amazing! I've been craving lavender lemonade and anything else lavender flavored so I found myself a lavender farm {ok, my dad found it}. It happened to be the lavender festival all weekend at all the lavender farms in Oregon. This farm is open all year round so it wasn't absolutely necessary to go during the lavender festival but I am so glad we did! I went with my mom and my out of town cousin and it was so perfect. I had lavender honey, lavender scones, lavender dipping sauce for veggies, their famous lavender lemonade. 

SO much lavender!

I am holding on tight to the hope that this weekend will bring 80 degree weather! Come on May, make my dreams come true. 

It's also Wednesday and I'm ready for the weekend. So much to look forward to!

Also, I got a chance to ask my friend's daughter to be our flower girl! 

She was super cute and sweet and she said this would be the first thing she told her class on Monday, so I am feeling pretty honored that she deemed it important enough to share with her class. There was also a major wedding planning date with our day of coordinator, some shopping, the final installment of Twilight {wow}, and introducing Liz to Nashville {the tv show; I'm kinda obsessed}.

It's almost Valentine's Day!

I've been so in love with the mint/red combo for Valentine's Day this year that I had to wear it to a fabulous party on Saturday. I also used it for a bunch of my Valentine's.

Happy Monday!

I had a wonderful weekend, two of my best friends visited and we did a lot of best friend things. Like eating at our favorite restaurants, going to Target, making Valentine's cards all evening, eating more, going on walks, doing some wedding crafts. 

It's nice to have people that you can just hang out with and whatever you choose to do, 

it's the best time ever. 

{especially when it's making returns, staying in, eating cheese, getting the car washed, and changing into pajamas immediately after dinner}

First things first: After wearing these almost everyday after buying them, I decided I needed a pair of similar heels. I found these J.Crew shoes, decided they were perfect. except for their price.
