the conservatory

Talk about palm heaven!
When we decided to go to San Francisco for Thanksgiving, I knew I wanted to go to the Conservatory of Flowers. It's beautiful and it has a really cool history. I'm so glad we made time to check it out. It has five rooms of plants and I was in awe of everything! I definitely recommend it.

You can see my favorite local conservatory here.

blue bottle coffee

Blue Bottle Coffee is one of my favorite coffee shops in San Francisco. I fell in love with it when I tried their New Orleans Iced Coffee. Naturally, I was so happy when I figured out there was a Blue Bottle right across from our hotel. And this one serves brunch! Everything was perfect.

Ever since staying at The Viceroy for our honeymoon, I've been a big fan of Viceroy hotels. I've had my eye on Hotel Zetta {owned by Viceroy} since it opened. When we decided to go to San Francisco for Thanksgiving, I zeroed in on Hotel Zetta again. I love Viceroy hotels because they usually have pretty great deals. We got a good deal and I loved our stay there. The room was huge and comfy, I loved the natural light. We had breakfast in bed. We got drinks at The Cavalier {in Hotel Zetta} and went upstairs to play some games in The Playroom. We played giant jenga, ping pong and shuffle board. Jeff won every single game. Hotel Zetta was right in the middle of downtown, we didn't spend a lot of time in downtown San Francisco but it was fun to stay there. I loved it.

thanksgiving 2014 plans

I'm so excited!
We are headed to San Francisco for Thanksgiving! We are driving, which will fun right? I'm excited to see my siblings and of course see the city again. We will see family but we will also do some sight seeing. Alcatraz, the Embarcadero, Ferry Building, and of course eat all the good food.
The countdown in on!

ps. these cute thank you cards are from Target.

spring vacation part 3: san francisco

Jeff, Kate and I spent a day in San Francisco together.
It was so fun visiting the city with my husband and my sister!
Basically we walked a lot and ate a lot.
My new favorite place to visit is the Palace of Fine Arts, so beautiful!
The New Orleans Iced Coffee from Blue Bottle was everything I was hoping for.
Portland needs a Blue Bottle, am I right?
And that Pizzeria Delfina, yes.
It was great to catch up with a few girlfriends over this gorgeous and equally delicious pizza.
