Cozy Dinner Party

This is a dinner party collaboration with Suzannah from Create/Enjoy
Suzannah created the recipes, opened up her beautiful home and asked me to style the tablescape. We worked with Kelsey Malie Calligraphy for the beautiful menu and name cards. Stemm Floral created that dreamy centerpiece and Mary Boyden photographed everything for us.
This was featured on Glitter Guide recently.

Check out "How to Style a Peaceful Low Stress Dinner Party" as told by yours truly. I don't usually share recipes here {because I don't usually cook} but Suzannah's are so delicious and simple that I will be sharing those soon.

cup & bar

I visited Cup & Bar twice recently and it's one of my new favorite Portland coffee shops. One of my favorite parts of their menu are the different kinds of toast. I had the avocado toast and the cinnamon and vanilla sugar toast. Both were exceptional! Next time I go, I want to try the chocolate. I saw another customer who had the chocolate tasting and it looked beautiful and rich. I have my go-to coffee shops but I'm always on the hunt for new ones, it seems like there are new shops popping up all the time.
Where are your fave coffee shops?

Happy Summer

Treasure & Bond boyfriend shorts
Lush cuff sleeve tee in ivory
Daniel Wellington St. Mawes Lady watch

It is officially summer! My favorite season.
I tend to wear simple delicate jewelry in the summer.
These are a few of my go to pieces for everyday summer outfits.

I received these pieces courtesy of Ann Revere Jewelry but my thoughts and opinions are my own.
Thank you for supporting the brands that support this blog.

FEAST 2014

Cheers to FEAST 2014!
I had the opportunity to attend FEAST for one of the Oregon Bounty Grand Tastings.
I've wanted to go to FEAST for a few years and it just didn't work out in the past.
I'm so glad it worked out this year! Everything I ate and drank was amazing.
My favorite area was the Bon Appétit tent with Olympic ProvisionsJacobsen SaltSalt & StrawCacaoBethel Heights. And the Stumptown Cold Brew. So good!

Next year I'm hoping I can make it to the Night Market and the Brunch Village too.

schoolhouse electric + ristretto roasters

If you follow me on instagram, you probably already saw this last photo with a brief recap of my weekend. Here's a less brief recap.

Like I said, I went to Portland to see friends, do some shopping, see family and eat good food.

I met up with Allegra for coffee, it's so fun to meet insta friends and find out how much you have in common in real life!

I saw my BFF Abby, always necessary to catch up with her.

I stopped by West Elm and ordered a couch! I received a hand-me-down love seat from my Aunt years ago and that's what we've been using ever since we moved in, over a year and a half ago! So excited for a real couch! It'll be here in three weeks. Let the decorating begin.

I stopped by Madewell for a few essentials, new jeans {they have a promo, if you donate a pair of old jeans, any brand, you get $20 off a new pair. Yes, please. It goes through the end of the year}, a sweater and an upgrade to my keys, a new keychain.

That night I had dinner with my aunt. After a long brainstorming session, we decided on Olympic Provisions in SE. It was definitely a hit! We got a charcuterie board with three additional small plates and it was so delicious. I can't wait to go again and try even more things! We ended our night with dessert at Papa Haydn in Sellwood, another place I had never been before. I loved sitting outside. And getting pumpkin spiced bread pudding. It was so fun to hang out with my Aunt, I loved it.

On Sunday morning, I met up with Rachel at Ristretto Roasters in Schoolhouse Electric. Again, so fun to meet insta blog friends in real life! I had such a great time chatting, already looking forward to the next time. And Schoolhouse. So amazing, I could live there and be a very happy woman.

Once Jeff and I were both home in Salem, we stopped by Starbucks and got his car washed. I loved sitting in the sun while we waited for his car. It was a great weekend!

under the willow tree

I bought Jeff a shirt and then wore it first. Again. I fell in love with the light weight linen of this shirt. I love the short sleeve too. It looks great on Jeff too! He will love it.

Thanks to Leah Hope Photography for these photos.
