thanksgiving 2014 plans

I'm so excited!
We are headed to San Francisco for Thanksgiving! We are driving, which will fun right? I'm excited to see my siblings and of course see the city again. We will see family but we will also do some sight seeing. Alcatraz, the Embarcadero, Ferry Building, and of course eat all the good food.
The countdown in on!

ps. these cute thank you cards are from Target.

spring vacation part 1

My apologies. The last time I left off was when Jeff and I were headed to Northern California for a week! Well. We are back and it was so amazing. Sunny weather, seeing family, tons of good food and coffee. These are photos from visiting my sister at Santa Clara University and the bottom photos are when we visited Stanford University. We made a shopping stop at Santana Row where we stopped in at Madewell and the Tesla store {for Jeff!}. Many more photos to come!

whoa

shoes are ready to party.

Wow, how did that happen? I think I just took the longest hiatus of my blogging career thus far. Apparently it was much needed.
My work had it's annual biggest fundraiser of the year {I also happen to be one of the three main coordinators for making that event happen} and it was amazing!
I took a short family vacation with my family and Jeff to Central Oregon, it was also amazing.
I'm about to celebrate a bachelorette party tomorrow for one of my closest friends/bridesmaid/co-worker/office mate! She gets married a week from today and I am seriously psyched!
It's the busiest time of the summer for Jeff, so every chance we get we take it seriously and just stare at each other. Or do some wedding planning and try to be as normal as possible even though summer is a crazy time for both of us.
When I say it's the busiest time of the summer for Jeff, I mean it's the 75th anniversary of our beloved camp. The camp we met at, worked at, he is the current camp director, and the very camp we are getting married at in September. It's crazy awesome busy up there.
I've ordered at least three swimsuits for our honeymoon. I'll be sure to share more about our plans soon.
My parents celebrated their 30th anniversary {the reason for the trip to Central Oregon}.
Our wedding is almost less than a month away!

I am tired. A good happy kind of tired.

happy fourth!

Happy Fourth of July to everyone!
I'm not going to lie, I put a lot of my energy into other holidays {birthdays, NYE, valentine's day} and the 4th of July really isn't one of my faves. It also probably has to do with the fact that I really haven't celebrated it in the last 6 years since I was usually at summer camp. I just got out of the habit. BUT I have the day off today and I am headed to Portland to see family, including family visiting from Missouri! So I'm definitely looking forward to that. No matter how you feel about the holiday,
I hope it's an amazing day/weekend!

Happy Birthday Dad!

Happy Birthday Dad!
A little while ago, my dad and I {and my parents dog, Zoey} went to the beach for the afternoon. My dad wanted to get over there while it was still nice weather and even though it was a bit chilly, it was beautiful! We stopped at this cute drive thru coffee place {Mojo Coffee} that I've seen many times and it has Stumptown AND Big Train Chai!
New favorite place to stop in Lincoln City.
It was a great day trip with my dad! Looking forward to celebrating even more.

see the face?

I had a great time helping my sister move into her freshman dorm. it reminded me of all the good and awesome parts of my own freshman year. then I got to head to san francisco with my dad and meet up with my brother and sister-in-law. oh and saw two old friends {who are moving back to Salem, yay!}, a cousin I haven't seen in years and my lovely friend who I always see in SF but never have enough time with. it was busy and I  had a hard time keeping my phone charged because I kept taking photos of everything! If you looked through all those photos, hope you enjoyed!
