Wine tasting at Anne Amie. 

Such a gorgeous spot. Since we had a large group, we go to sit at one of their big tables inside. I always like to snack when wine tasting and was very happy with the Olympic Provisions salami and crackers they provided. We also got to taste their rosé, which was an unlisted bonus on the tasting. 

Lunch at Nick's. The minestrone soup is the best! Nick's has great ambiance and great food. I always want to try something new but can't really stray from the soup. It was a great way to end our afternoon in McMinnville. Ok, we actually ended our time with some ice cream across the street.

This week was long. 

Our family dog, Zoey, had to be put to sleep this week. It's so heartbreaking to lose a pet. She took a turn for the worse in the last month, barely eating, having a hard time walking but she was still so happy. Until the last few days when she seemed in pain. I'm glad she's in a better place but it makes me so sad that we can't have our pets forever! I mentioned it on instagram and thank you to everyone who left a sweet note, it meant so much to me. Thank you. 

I don't have much planned this weekend, and I'm grateful. We are helping Jeff's brother and sister-in-law move on Saturday but other than that no plans. Let's assume there will be coffee, sleeping in, catching up on TV, and hopefully enjoying some of the last bits of summer sun.

Happy Labor Day!

I'm grateful to have this day off, I'm looking forward to helping Jeff finish up his classroom.

I wore this outfit this weekend and I want to wear it everyday. Thanks to my sister for letting me borrow this tank {or dress if you're her} before she went back to school. 

I've been drooling over it all summer!

I was at work on Friday and realized that it was Jeff and my fifth dating anniversary! I've been so focused on our wedding anniversary next weekend that I almost forgot out dating anniversary. How soon I forgot! Since we remembered that day we kept it low key and it was great. 

Jeff took these photos for me, we had sushi for dinner and we saw Guardians of the Galaxy. It was a great way to celebrate five years of being together. Five years! I'm a lucky woman.

Last week was a great break. 

I had a great Thanksgiving with family, saw a lot of friends, went to a baby shower, threw a hanukkah party, had a Gatsby styled photo shoot for work, got our first christmas tree and ate so much good food!

I had such a busy and filled weekend. Saturday was spent with BFF Liz, we saw our other BFF Abby, went to Emily's bridal shower, went to Starbucks twice, shared a lot of clothes, and caught up on life.

Sunday was another full day in Portland, this time with Justine! 

We went up for the Pacific Northwest Blogger Meet Up at Union/Pine, we got there a little early so we stopped in for Coffee at Water Ave Coffee, had so much fun seeing and catching up with blogger friends, and getting inspired to blog more. Followed by a lunch at Prasad while catching up with Abby. Ok and then some shopping on the way home :)

This is a pretty normal weekend outfit for me. I know a lot of people don't like when women wear leggings as pants but I love it. It's comfortable and I always wear long shirt for more coverage. 

This weekend was one of the laziest and most relaxing weekend I've had in a long time. 

It was amazing!

Over the weekend I wore a combination of this outfit, wore flats with this outfit for the greek festival in portland and then changed into heels and nicer jeans for a bachelorette dinner. My weekends have been significantly less busy since the wedding and it's been amazing. We have time to see friends, work on organizing/cleaning our apartment, and relax. 

ps. Jeff put up a shelf for shoes in my closet this weekend! he is a total dream.
