Stripes and peonies, an unbeatable combination right?

I picked up this gorgeous bunch at the Salem Saturday Market and I am so in love, I can't stop staring!

Peony season is so short, I have to take advantage as often as possible.

I posted on instagram yesterday, I was so lucky to received peonies from two friends and my dad, now I'm swimming in peonies!

1. I love the baseball cap trend but wasn't sure if it was one I would try out. Lucky for me, BFF Abby gave me this one for Christmas! I love hers and she must have known I needed a little push to get my own :) 

2. I've been coveting this bracelet from J.Crew for years and I almost bought it for the wedding but decided against it. I have seen a few similar bracelets other places but still not in my budget until I found this one at Target last week! It's definitely not as high quality as the original but that's to be expected. Maybe someday I'll spring for the real deal.

3. Ever since Lavenda wore these sexy boyfriend jeans, I had to get my hands on them. She has the light wash which are so cute! Since I already have a light wash pair of boyfriends, I opted for the darker ones and I am in love! Gap is always having a sale and these were no exception. I've been wearing them every day since! 

4. I had such a great three day weekend and to top it off, Monday was gorgeous!

What I wore on the fourth of july! I'm not usually a fan of red but I took some heavy inspiration from this beautiful blogger and went for it on the red, white and blue day.

So I'm going to be honest. I haven't opened my computer since last Tuesday {I'm writing this on Monday evening}. This last week at work was busy and Saturday was our big event that I've been helping coordinate. Saturday was such a long day and I was exhausted but I had such a great time. The event went so well and I was reminded why I love working on events {behind the scenes}. Also, I got to dress for the 1970's, wear an afro wig, and see so many other people dressed up in amazing outfits! On top of that, we're house/catsitting. So I've been busy! But that's how I prefer it. 

The sun literally came out while we were taking these photos. It was awesome. I'm laughing so much in that photo because I had almost fallen over right before that. Balance is hard.

Zoe Hart Stripes

I've been re-watching Hart of Dixie {mostly while I work out} and I am just so in love with Rachel Bilson. Loved her ever since The OC. I love all of her outfits on Hart of Dixie and she wore a similar shirt in an episode so when I spotted this at Forever 21 I snapped it up so I could pretend to be Zoe Hart's  sister.

ok. I'm wearing two pairs of leggings and then I piled on a scarf and wore my biggest jacket. 

I know I posted yesterday about this winter wonderland but today it's raining, so I'm over it.

Jeff and I have been researching honeymoon destinations and ALL I want is to be WARM. I started a workout program with the wedding in mind and then I realized our honeymoon will most likely be somewhere hot and I want to be bikini ready too! 

Not to mention being bikini ready for a warm destination bachelorette party {hopefully}. 

Seeing a theme? 

I want warmth, sandals, iced drinks, sun, some real color on my cheeks, and freckles.
