Blowout Dry Bar: Review

I had a gift card {Thanks Jeff!} and chose to try out Blowout before my birthday party last Saturday. 

It was so easy to book an appointment online which was so nice. 

I didn't get many photos cause I was trying to relax after a really busy morning, but I loved the aesthetic inside. Very bright, clean, girly, good music, good smells, nice staff, comfy couch to sit and wait on, plenty of new magazines, and ghost chairs! 

I had a great time getting my hair washed, dried, and curled. 

On the menu, I went for a mix between 'The Flirt' and 'Divalicious'. Other options are 'Sleek and Chic', 'Half 'n Half', and 'Pretty Twisted'. The stylist working with my hair was nice and receptive to my ideas and suggestions about  my hair. I also had the 'mini makeover' which was eyes, cheeks, and lips. 

I had such a fun time trying Blowout! I'll definitely go back. 

Not to mention, I got my hair done at 1pm and my party was at 7, it held all night!

Mondays they have one free hour of childcare from WeVillage between 10-4 ages 2-12

Tuesdays they have a 2 for 1 Blowout Luscious!

Sundays they have free mimosas with a blowout!

While I made finishing touches and got dressed my sister kindly took some photos of the set up for my birthday party!

I had so much fun setting up and getting everything ready, I love parties.

Happy New Year!

I have had an amazing year.
I had a fabulous New Year's Eve to top off 2011 and start 2012 off right!

The night started with dinner with friends, hosted by Kyle and his girlfriend Alyssa. Dinner was delicious, they made fun drinks, we played games, and Kyle even set up a little photo area for us! See more photos here. Thanks so much Kyle and Alyssa!

We spent midnight at my friends, Meaghan & Nat's adorable apartment. They also had a photo booth set up by the talented Erich McVey. Ps. Sequin background? Good job, Erich, you knew your crowd well.

how amazing does everyone look? I am obsessed with Jordan's grey stripes, ballerina bun, big sparkly necklace, glasses, Meg's navy sequins and of course, Liz, Alyssa, and my coordinating outfits {unplanned of course}!

We are so lucky to have two friends that are very talented photographers! It was so fun to have so many photos to look at and enjoy! I love photos and photo booths and there are never enough photos from New Year's Eve. Until this year that is! We definitely got plenty of great photos, thanks to these guys! You know I was instagramming the whole night too. I'll share some of those soon too. 

I had such a good time celebrating and seeing everyone. I was so happy to be with my best friends and Jeff. It really doesn't matter what I do for New Year's Eve as long as I'm with them! And as long as I'm wearing some sequins..
