Wine tasting at Anne Amie. 

Such a gorgeous spot. Since we had a large group, we go to sit at one of their big tables inside. I always like to snack when wine tasting and was very happy with the Olympic Provisions salami and crackers they provided. We also got to taste their rosé, which was an unlisted bonus on the tasting. 

Lunch at Nick's. The minestrone soup is the best! Nick's has great ambiance and great food. I always want to try something new but can't really stray from the soup. It was a great way to end our afternoon in McMinnville. Ok, we actually ended our time with some ice cream across the street.

whole foods wine tasting

The weather is still a little temperamental but I can tell it's starting to get nicer and that means it's almost time for outside dining! We have a small deck that we never use during the winter but I'm so excited for nicer weather so we can enjoy all hours of the day out there. I'm really excited to be able to come home after work and enjoy a glass of wine outside. I haven't always been a big fan of wine but within the last six months, I've really started to enjoy it. I am still learning what I like, but I've started drinking red wine because sometimes I get a headache from my old faves {champagne, sparkling wine etc}. I picked up this bottle from Whole Foods and I'm excited to try it! Anyone else have a favorite wine from Whole Foods? I love their large selection, makes it fun to choose! 

Tonight {Thursday, March 27th from 6:30pm - 7:30pm} all of Whole Foods Market Portland area stores will host a Twitter Tasting to feature 7 different wines and recommended pairings from their Wine Specialists. As we move out of Winter and into Spring, this is the perfect time to find some new favorites for any upcoming dinner parties, celebrations, summer events, and more. 

Since I'm still a wine novice, I wish I could be there! 

I'll will be joining from afar, with wine in hand.
