Did you see my guest post over on A Fabulous Fete
It's all about my favorite hot weather vacation outfit!

Yesterday was the first day of fall and of course Oregon welcomed Fall in style, with rain.
I know everyone is excited for fall, cozy sweaters, warm drinks and pumpkin everything but I will always be a summer girl. Bring back summer. Summer forever.

Joshua Tree

I had so much to share from the honeymoon and PFW hopefully it's not confusing that I've been going back and forth. I just want to share all of it all at once but I've been stretching it out since there is so much! I'll have some new stuff to share next week. Until then..

Joshua Tree National Park.
It was huge, it was gorgeous, it was hot, it was unlike any other national park I've ever been to. Since we had our wedding in a state park, it was fun going from a dense Pacific Northwest park to a desert park. We did a short 1 mile loop and in that heat it was plenty.

Boutiika

American Apparel crop top, Asos pleated skirt, Target glitter sandals, Gap clutch,
Parallel necklace c/o Boutiika

I received this beautiful necklace from Parallel boutique in Portland through Boutiika's same day delivery service. It's a genius service that just launched in Portland and I was happy to test it out! There are plenty of local boutiques to choose from, be sure to choose a store that does same day delivery, pick our your item, let them know where you want it delivered whether it's home, work, or wherever, they will hand deliver it! Perfect for those days when you need something to take your work outfit from day to night but don't have time to go home for an outfit change. Like I said, genius!

These were the first and only outfit photos I took on our honeymoon, I even have a little bit of wedding hair leftover.. don't judge.

Honeymoon: Pt. 2 Salvation Mountain

Salvation Mountain was about 1.5 hour from Palm Springs and I knew we had to go once I learned about it. Read more about the background here. I thought this might be a touristy place to visit and when we showed up we thought there were other people there because of other cars being present but the second we stepped out of the car we realized we were the only ones there. It was the quietest place I've ever been, a little eerie, I can't explain it but it was just so quiet. The other cars that were there were painted and part of the scene. I'm not a religious person so I didn't connect with the messages but it was so amazing to see in person. Jeff and I were only there for about 15 minutes total but I'm really glad we made the trek out there. If you're ever in the area, I recommend it!
