Angel Aura Collection

I talked about delicate everyday jewelry and now I'm talking about summer statement pieces. We all have those summer weddings, bridal showers, baby showers, date nights, celebrations to attend in the summer, and I always like to branch out and wear something I don't wear every day.

I love gemstones and Julie of JES Design Studio creates such beautiful pieces! I love both these necklaces, the quartz necklace is a part of the Angel Aura Collection and the shell necklace is a part of the Shoreline Collection. Bonus, I've met Julie in person and she is so sweet and kind. We talked a lot about community, not competition and how it's important to work with people you respect and that respect you. It makes all the different. I'm so excited to work with Julie at the Becoming Workshop in September.

ps. use code THANKYOU15 for 10% off your total purchase!

I received these pieces courtesy of JES Design Studio but my thoughts and opinions are my own.

Happy Summer

Treasure & Bond boyfriend shorts
Lush cuff sleeve tee in ivory
Daniel Wellington St. Mawes Lady watch

It is officially summer! My favorite season.
I tend to wear simple delicate jewelry in the summer.
These are a few of my go to pieces for everyday summer outfits.

I received these pieces courtesy of Ann Revere Jewelry but my thoughts and opinions are my own.

rocksbox

I hope everyone had a great holiday! I am continuing the celebrations all weekend with friends and family, but I had a quick post to share with you today.

I just got my first Rocksbox and I am excited to share about it!
I've done the monthly subscription box thing before with BirchBox and I'm not really one to jump at many opportunities unless I actually think it will interest my readers. I think this is a good one!

Rocksbox is similar in that you fill out a survey about your likes and your jewelry style, you make a wishlist and they send a few pieces to you to try for the month. If you like any/all of the pieces you can keep them for a cost or you send them back when you're ready to try new pieces. You also get a discount on buying those items if you decide to keep them. Easy and a great way to try out some pieces before buying them! I am really happy with the quality of the items I received. I immediately put on the cuff and the ring. That necklace is great for the holidays too!

In this box I received:

Gorjana | Twist Cuff
Urban Gem | Victoria Necklace
Gorjana | Shimmer Disk Ring in Rose Gold

I have a great deal to share with you too!
Use the code: samxoxo to get your first Rocksbox box for free

You can also invite friends to receive credit toward purchases which is great for the holidays and New Year's Eve coming up!

Have any of you tried something like this before? I'd love to hear about it!
Let me know if you try Rocksbox!

Disclaimer: I received a free three month subscription to Rocksbox review on my blog.

rose gold

Jules Smith necklace c/o Favery, Fossil watch gift from Jeff {similar, similar}, earrings a gift from mom {similar}, Nordstrom BP headband, Great Gatsby book

I thought rose gold might be a fleeting trend but I've had that watch for a few years and I still wear it every day. I even chose to have a rose gold wedding band {not pictured}, I love mixing metals with rose gold. My mom gave me those earrings and they are one of those gifts I probably wouldn't buy for myself but she had a feeling I would love them because they're rose gold. Everything I touch turns to rose gold?
Don't get me wrong, I still love everything yellow gold but rose gold is just a little bit softer.
