Simple

Delia's peplum shirt, J.Crew Factory jeans, Target belt, Urban Outfitters black pumps, Fossil watch, Nordstrom bracelet, J.Crew Factory Giraffe necklace, BaubleBar Large Monogram necklace

I've been gravitating towards simple outfits these days.
Must be the cold weather and the fact that I'm wearing a coat most of the day.
Happy Thursday!

Pleat Week Day 3

Jacket: Target, Shirt & Belt: Old Navy, Skirt: Vintage, Shoes: F21, Necklace: Borrowed from Best Friend Liz

My best friend Liz took these for me while I was visiting in Bend. I have had this skirt FOR EVER. I have had it since at least sophomore or junior year in high school. It doesn't have a tag and I can't even remember where I bought it.

I love pleats because they are so forgiving! I can wear this with anything, day, night, casual, dressy, warm, cold. I take this skirt to camp sometimes and wear it in the wilderness for a reminder of what I usually wear in real life. I took it to London with me a few years ago, it's just so perfect! I love the length of these vintage pleated skirts, much more my style. I find vintage skirts, pleated or pencil, fit me much  better than modern skirts. They hit at my natural waist and give room for my hips. The best place to find these kinds of pleated skirts are at places like Goodwill and Value Village. Nicer vintage shops have them as well, but they are much more expensive!

Ok I will stop, clearly I love my clothes and I could talk about them all day.
Happy Thursday!
