I've been gravitating towards simple outfits these days. 

Must be the cold weather and the fact that I'm wearing a coat most of the day.

a peplum, sequins and mens pants

I bet when I bought these pants for Jeff, he never thought they'd be worn with a peplum top, a sequin sweater and cheetah heels. Or maybe he expects the unexpected with me now. It's definitely come in handy that I can wear Jeff's clothes. It also helps that I buy most of his clothes for him. I finally got my hands on that fabulous peplum top I've been coveting for months. It was on sale and on sale again. 

This would be a great and comfy outfit to wear for Thanksgiving! 

As long as those pants aren't too tight to begin with of course.. and that peplum top is stretchy and forgiving.

This was a photo shoot for an ad campaign I helped style for Salem Art Association for their Holiday Showcase. I picked out the clothes, and helped style the jewelry with my friend Meagan {not pictured}, The beautiful jewelry was the focus for this shoot. The jewelry maker, Kathleen is based in Salem and all these pieces are for sale at the Salem Art Association and she has other pieces for sale in her etsy store. Also, it just so happened that these lovely ladies are friends of ours, aren't they beautiful models? Beautiful ladies and beautiful jewelry. It was really fun and I'm so glad I was asked to be a part of it!

I'm not even going to apologize for the amount of photos I'm sharing today and tomorrow because I love them all. 

Linnea, Jade Rose and I met at the August Portland Blogger Meet Up and by the end of the meet up we decided we would like to get together again and have a photo shoot. So we did! This was a perfect time to wear my new peplum top as well.

A few weeks later we got together and we started at Albina Press on SE Hawthorne in Portland. It's a great spot with a lot of inside and outside seating and the staff was really nice too. I had a great time getting to know these two lovely ladies better and that mocha was delicious. Linnea is so talented and so fun to work with, she is always smiling and making you feel comfortable.
