Happy New Year's Eve!

Since everyone loves some sparkle on NYE I thought I would share about my bridesmaids.

Whenever photos of our wedding come up online, it's always the bridesmaid dresses that get the most attention and I love it! I took a lot of inspiration from this photo of Molly Sims' wedding and really tried to stick to that original inspiration. I even convinced the photographer to let us take photos with 'casual bouquets'. I told you I took a lot of inspiration from that photo and I loved how it all turned out!

Anyway. I was really excited to help pick out the bridesmaid dresses. I had a much clearer vision for their dresses than my own. I told them I wanted them in coordinating but not matching dresses. I fell in love with neutral colors, cream, beige, grey, and texture was highly encouraged. Three out of the five were purchased at Nordstrom but the other two were great finds at Victoria's Secret and Marshall's. I encouraged wearing flats since we were getting married in the middle of a field but it really didn't matter to me. My sister wore a great pair of wedges, but almost everyone's feet were covered by their dresses. The two that wore non embellished dresses wore amazing necklaces. I love that the other girls kept it simple. Each woman looked so gorgeous and once they were all together, it was perfection! One person even commented "Is there a bride in that photo?" and I love that because it means my ladies were lookin GOOD!

Meaghan and Nat's wedding was so beyond gorgeous and dreamy. It was held in her aunt and uncle's garden and every detail was thought out and perfect. That babies breath crown, persian rug, the gorgeous garden, the delicate bracelets she gave us as bridesmaids, everything. I was honored to be a part of their day. I only snapped a few photos, I was having so much fun! I'm excited to see the photos from Erich McVey Photography, and the video from Nate Baston you know they'll be insane amazing.

On Saturday I had my bridesmaids come over for breakfast because I realized I hadn't seen them all together since Jeff and I got engaged {I probably haven't seen them all together ever}. I wanted to see them and hang out before I started really getting in wedding stuff. I also wanted to show them how grateful I am for them! How beautiful and stylish are they??

I promise we ate, I just didn't get any photos of that.. we had quiche, fruit, mini pumpkin pie bites, and macarons {so good from Trader Joe's! frozen section}. It's not secret to my friends that I love champagne and mimosas so I had grapefruit juice {my fave} and orange juice for the mimosas as well as coffee and tea but the mimosa's were definitely the preferred choice.
The straws are from Roost Reimagined.

I had such a fun time decorating and mostly using stuff I already had. I found the 100 foot roll of tulle my sister in law gave me and went to town! Let me know if you want to know where anything is from and I will be happy to answer.

ps. the adorable confetti system ornaments {that double as a small gift box} can be found at West Elm and on sale now!
