spring vacation part 2: sprinkles

On our visit to Stanford we stopped at Sprinkles in Palo Alto and it was amazing.

Oh yes

I don't have much to say today, but check out this funny description of what your instagram filters say about you and then check out the article that inspired it; what your American Girl doll says about the rest of your life {I didn't have an American Girl doll, but desperately wanted Samantha and yes everyone I knew/know had/has Samantha and apparently she is not available anymore! ok I digress..}

And yes, yesterday Jeff and I had our engagement shoot with Erich & Amy and I am very excited to see the photos, and I know a lot of you are excited as well {thanks!} due to sharing this photo on instagram and facebook :) be patient and I will share when I can!

Happy 1st Blog Birthday!

I started this little blog a year ago Saturday!

It's been a fabulous way for me to stay creative, meet amazing new people, connect with family and friends across the country, and to find new inspiration everywhere.

Thank you to everyone who has helped me, supported me, encouraged me, and thank you to those who have read the blog whether it's once or everyday, thank you!

I'm excited to see where the next year takes me!

So. Jeff got a job! 

It is awesome and amazing and we're both grateful that at this point after graduation and camp, at least one of us has a job {I'm on the hunt!}. That job requires a move on our part. We will be moving back to Salem {we're both from there}. While I am excited to be closer to my parents, Jeff's family, and Salem friends, I am sad to leave Portland and the home base we've created the last few years.  

Since we're moving soon, we are soaking up our lovely Portland. 

Hence the cupcake, walks around our neighborhood, and all day date planned for tomorrow. 

ps. I really need to get my bangs trimmed, that's why I've been avoiding looking straight into the camera. My eyes are getting lost under there.

She is celebrating her anniversary of moving to Portland! I'm talking about one of my favorite Portland cupcake bakeries and what better way to celebrate than with some cupcakes from Saint Cupcake?

The graduation party

It was a delicious celebration. My favorite parts were the pink champange, the Macaron prosecco, the sun, all the sweets, and the gorgeous peonies from my parents garden.

Today I am headed to Seattle to see a great friend.
