Jade Rose sent me this gorgeous necklace from her new shop, Lady Evelyn.

I love it! I've been transitioning into more delicate jewelry lately and this is a perfect addition.

Jade Rose and I met a few years ago through the Portland Blogger meet ups and I feel like we are kindred spirits. It was so fun to catch up every time we would see each other, usually at Portland fashion events, like Portland Fashion Week, or while I was wedding dress shopping, or collaborating on photo shoots, and blogger meet ups. She got married this summer and she and her husband jumped the pond and now live in Leeds, England! Ever since I studied abroad in London five years ago {how has it already been five years?!}, I've been obsessed with everything English. I love following her adventures in England and she even sent me a sweet treat with this gorgeous necklace. A Bueno Bar!! If you know me and my London travels, you know the Bueno Bar is my absolute FAVE!

Well it only took 6 years, 4 cities, 7 different living arrangements, 5 summers at camp, 3 different cars, 2 universities, 1 life changing trip to London, 1 time changing my major, 1 amazingly supportive fiance, my awesome family and best friends, and about 1 million visits to Starbucks to get me to my last day of college!! Thanks doesn't even begin cover it.

Happy Birthday to my Best Friend Forever Liz!

I have millions of photos of me and Liz but I love this one.
This was 3 years ago on her 21st birthday. We were in Wales and it was definitely not where you would expect to be spending your 21st birthday. Or any birthday for that matter.. but we had fun!

I love you!
I'm SO glad I got to see you this weekend and spend part of your actual birthday with you!
All I want to say is: Thank you for everything. Thank you for being my best friend and girl soulmate.

Studio 52

One of my favorite days in London was spent with Liz, Melissa, and Emily (that should be no surprise, since I spent every day in London with them) at Studio 52. We bought a photo package and had no idea it would be as much fun as it was. We hauled about half our belongings into Central London, where we were served mimosas, had our hair, make up, and nails done. We all enjoyed multiple outfit changes and getting our photos on a CD before we left that day.

I love these photos because they are fabulous but they also remind me of my amazing experience in London with my Northwick Park Girls.

We had plans to go to Paris the next day so I slept as still as possible and was able to preserve my fabulous hairdo all through the weekend in Paris. This hairdo was my inspiration for my hair for Liz's wedding.
