Weekend Update

Loft Chambray shirt
J.Crew drapey pants {similar}

It was so fun to have my sister in town last week.
We ate a lot, hung out with friends, saw family in Portland, went on a Father's Day hike with dad, played some Fruit Ninja and I loved every second. Already counting down to her next visit.

early summer

Forever 21 Kimono maxi
Gap sandals
Target Panama hat
American Apparel clutch
JES Designs Arrowhead necklace
Forever 21 black aviator sunglasses

The sun has been amazing in Oregon the last few weeks. I'm ready for summer now. Summer is going to be filled with so many fun things, first up is a week of camp, then a Southern California vacation, a wedding, hopefully a few weekend trips to Portland, Bend, the Oregon Coast, lots of BBQ's, all the fun stuff.

my sunday dress

Forever 21 blue floral kimono and black tank dress, H&M belt, Ecote hat from Urban Outfitters, Urban Outfitters sunglasses, Gap factory d'orsay flats, asos x and midi ring, H&M gem ring

It's been a while since I shared an outfit here.
If you've seen me in person in the last 6 weeks, you know that I've probably worn this dress about once a week. If you're my husband, you definitely know I've worn it at least once a week since I bought it. There were a couple weekends in a row where I wore this on Sunday. I started to think of it as my Sunday dress, and then this week I wore it on Saturday. Wild, I know.
I just picked up this hat for fall/winter.
I wore my panama hat so much this summer {as in my last three outfit posts!}, that I decided I wanted a cooler weather option. That still doesn't mean I'm ready for fall. I'm very happy it's still warm!

boho fringe + five years

Forever 21 fringed sweater {similar}, Free People slipdress {borrowed from my sister}, Madewell coated denim, Vince Camuto wedges, Heather Belle Niki cuff c/o Favery, Fossil watch, Anthropologie feather cuff, Nordstrom BP panama hat

Happy Labor Day!
I'm grateful to have this day off, I'm looking forward to helping Jeff finish up his classroom.

I wore this outfit this weekend and I want to wear it everyday. Thanks to my sister for letting me borrow this tank {or dress if you're her} before she went back to school.
I've been drooling over it all summer!

I was at work on Friday and realized that it was Jeff and my fifth dating anniversary! I've been so focused on our wedding anniversary next weekend that I almost forgot out dating anniversary. How soon I forgot! Since we remembered that day we kept it low key and it was great.
Jeff took these photos for me, we had sushi for dinner and we saw Guardians of the Galaxy. It was a great way to celebrate five years of being together. Five years! I'm a lucky woman.

what i wore: easter

Target top, Forever 21 blazer, J.Crew factory jeans, Madewell Kensington Satchel, Zara sandals

What I wore on Easter.
Jeff and I had a very casual Easter Sunday which was great.
We've been so busy lately that it felt awesome to rest up and take a lap around the neighborhood before walking to Starbucks for an iced coffee. Right now Jeff is obsessed with talking about building a computer and I'm obsessed with talking about getting new furniture. Needless to say we did a lot of online browsing and catching up on TV. It was awesome.

Also, this shirt was a lot cuter the last time I wore it because I had a tan.
Now it just looks flesh color and like it blends in a little too much.

What I Wore: Portland Blogger Meet Up

Target blouse, F21 crossbody bag and spike necklace, Edyson Sloan polka dot jeans
from Nordstrom Savvy, Urban Outfitters heels

This is what I wore to the Portland Blogger Meet Up on Saturday.
I've been wearing these jeans non-stop since I bought them a few weeks ago and I knew the meet up would be a great place to wear them. While walking around Portland we stumbled on this awesome local market called Local Choice Produce Market. It has a juice bar, pastries, a wine bar, hot bar, and tons of beautiful produce. Makes me miss Portland!

Thanks to Justine for snapping these photos!

moves like jagger

Forever 21 blazer, Banana Republic shirt, Target coated jeans, fringe booties and tassel clutch,
vintage watch, J.Crew factory giraffe necklace

Happy Friday!
I'm excited to have another quiet weekend. I need to appreciate these weekends without plans because in a few weeks spring will start to pick up and then I won't come up for air until after our wedding!
On another note, let's talk about the spring trend "Black & White". Does anyone else feel like this is an odd trend? I feel like it's a classic and always in style, therefore it's hard to be a trend if it's always looking good. But here I am wearing black and white. Also, please note that this outfit was dubbed "Moves Like Jagger" by my co-worker. Definitely not because I have the moves, I think it's the pants.

25.3.13

rebellious

Forever 21 white blazer and necklace, J.Crew factory jeans, Urban Outfitters flats,
Target tassel clutch, Montana shirt from boutique in Montana

There's some profanity in my shirt, it's discreet but sorry if it offends!
Thanks Justine for taking these photos.

I've had this shirt for years, ever since I visited one of my college roommates in her home state, Montana. I don't wear this shirt very often, but people hardly ever notice that it has a bad word on it. It's my small way of rebelling. I walk around all day with a bad word on my shirt and no one even notices. I hope everyone had a good weekend! For once Jeff and I didn't have much planned, but that meant we got to see some friends, run some errands, and enjoy the time off.
