early mornings

H&M stripe shirt, Old Navy military vest, Forever 21 pearl necklace and pink flower pin,
Target pleated skirt, TJ Maxx wedge booties

I have barely blogged this week and I said I'd share some photos from Seattle but I'll save that for next week. I started a new workout program and I like doing it early in the morning because there are only about 3 old guys in the weight room instead of a bunch more young guys in the evening. So good job self for working out early in the morning but it makes me go to sleep earlier {also good} but then I have no energy to blog in the evening. It's also been a busy week for my family, so I'm looking forward to the weekend and hopefully having a little more energy to be creative and blog.
Happy Friday! Thanks for reading!

fall whites

old navy sweater, H&M skirt borrowed from Abby, target wedges, baublebar necklace, j.crew factory bracelet,
fossil watch, urban outfitters sunnies

just so much amazing weather this month, so many amazing sunsets.
i finally had to return this skirt to it's rightful owner {bff abby} so i had to photograph this outfit that i had been imagining in my head for a month. just because i'm wearing a sweater doesn't mean i'm ready for fall.. still not quite yet. not when it's this amazing out.

Sequins & Plaid

So much going on.
Shirt: Vintage DVF, Skirt: INC from Buffalo, Belt: H&M, Necklace: F21, Bow: BanDo from Anthro, Shoes: Steve Madden, Clutch: TJ Maxx

I borrowed those mile high shoes from my sister after her prom and wow.
I took photos and immediately changed into flats. I felt really old because I could not handle the height and I totally would have worn those in high school. Well, back to my sensible lower heels and flats. and I couldn't be happier.
I also borrowed that shirt from her, thanks sis.
Annd I picked up that awesome skirt at Buffalo when I zipped down to Eugene with my mom recently. $10. Amazing.

Kate's Prom

I know I brag about my baby sister a lot. But it's only because I think she is amazing.
Look how beautiful she looked for her senior prom!
Everything was perfection, her bright blue dress looked fab with her red hair, her newly cut hair {she just cut off 18 inches for Lock of Love & Oly Pageant}, purple nails, perfect glittery necklace, a cute bow, she did her own makeup and the tallest wedges you ever saw.
I had to run to the Camp To Belong Auction so I didn't get any photos of her and her date but we got some sister photos.
dress: Nordstrom, shoes: Steve Madden, Necklace: F21

Pop of Color

Here is one more hot pink accessory!
I dream of this one from ban.do, but at a fraction of the price, this one from forever 21 is amazing!
Anyone know where I could find a similar light pink one?
Dress worn as shirt: No label from Buffalo Exchange, Skirt: No Label thrifted, tights: Hue, Booties: F21,
Clutch: American Apparel, Belt: Target, Flower Pin: F21, Bracelets: F21, Target, J.Crew, Gifts, Watch: Gift Fossil

Things I got this weekend:
Clutch via American Apparel {purchased with my College Budget deal from this post}, necklace from my mom,  I <3 You vases, two pairs of Dolce Vita look-a-like wedges {purchased for Liz, since Bend Target was out of her size}, clearance grey wedges for me {all from Target}

How was your weekend? Any fabulous deals or finds?

the grey lady

Shirt: Nordstrom, Skirt: Target, Tights: Nordstrom, Shoes: TJ Maxx, Necklace, Gifted, Lips: Revlon 'Love That Red', Nails: OPI 'I'm Indi-a mood for love'

I love grey. It's my favorite color. I am also still loving red+pink, hence red lips and hot pink nails. A much needed bright spot during grey days. But this week has been so beautiful, hardly grey at all!

This weekend my sister is on Homecoming Court!
I have a lot going on this weekend so I will be preparing a big post for Monday!
Have a great weekend!
